Labor Hygiene and Inspection

The responsibility for controlling and safeguarding the development and compliance of the Labor and Social Security regulations falls on the Inspección de Trabajo y Seguridad Social (ITSS) [Labor and Social Security Inspection (LSSI)]. Since our safety and health at work is important, and because preventing is avoiding, the Instituto Nacional de Seguridad e Higiene en el Trabajo (INSHT) [National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health at Work (NISHW)] is in charge of studying the conditions so that these objectives are complied with.
