    Business Development Executive - Spanish speaking: An experienced, commercially aware Spanish speaking Business Development Executive is required to manage sales and new business opportunities for a leading environmental research and advisory agency that works with local authorities, Landscape Architects and Engineers helping to design environmentally sustainable urban cityscapes.

    The ideal Business Development Executive will have the ability to quickly build commercial relationships with Spanish speaking clients, providing quotes and any further information necessary to convert potential opportunities.

    A positive, engaging attitude with a drive to succeed are essential pre-requisites for the successful candidate.

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
    •Answering all technical and sales enquiries from Spanish speaking customers and negotiating terms of payment, including calling account customers for payment when due
    •Following up Spanish language quotations and applying sales techniques to secure orders
    •Translating Spanish enquiries for other more technically qualified English-speaking staff and retranslating the reply to the Spanish speaking customers when necessary
    •Following projects within the Spanish Sales Pipeline to increase Sales Intelligence and improve current conversion rates
    •Maintaining existing record of current Spanish projects complying with the specifics of the Project Criteria using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
    •Keeping a good record of all customer interaction on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with summary report in English
    •Explaining to relevant Spanish speaking decision makers the technical aspects of the products, their specific site requirements, prices, lead times and installation needs.
    •Assistance with other duties, such as answering the telephone during busy periods
    Skills & Experience:
    •Fluent Spanish speaking, reading and writing is essential
    •Some knowledge of Catalan language and culture would be an advantage
    •Fluent English language: speaking, reading and writing
    •Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
    •Knowledge of the landscaping industry or other allied industries (desirable)
    •Knowledge of tree planting techniques and skills (desirable)
    •Knowledge of Spanish and Catalonian cultures and business ethics (desirable)
    •Knowledge of, and belief in the value and benefit of Urban Trees to humanity
    •Excellent verbal communication skills
    •Experience and knowledge of Customer Service and Sales Techniques
    The successful candidate must be able to commute to our premises in East Sussex daily. There may be opportunity to visit customers and clients in Spain. The potential for growth is considerable and the long-term opportunity to set up a Spanish export office may emerge over time.
